Erin G. Fonacier is a partner at Dunlap Fiore, LLC. A Louisiana native, Ms. Fonacier graduated with honors from Loyola University New Orleans. She worked in the advertising sector before pursuing her law degree from LSU Law School.

Ms. Fonacier joined Dunlap Fiore, LLC in 2014, and has been an integral part of the public finance section. Ms. Fonacier assists in the review and preparation of loan agreements, trust indentures, counsel opinions, resolutions and ordinances relevant to each transaction.

Her practice also includes commercial litigation, appellate practice, construction litigation, surety litigation and general civil litigation. She has experience representing commercial businesses, surety and fidelity companies, insurance companies, and individuals in her construction law practice. Ms. Fonacier advises clients in matters such as contract review, lien law, contract disputes, contract negotiations, creditor rights, claim assertion and defense, payment bond and performance bond claims, takeover agreements, and secured lending transactions.

Ms. Fonacier's representation of public entities and municipalities also includes regulatory matters, contracting and bid disputes, with significant experience in handling Public Assistance claims under the Stafford Act at every stage, including preparation and presentation to FEMA, administrative review, arbitration and federal court litigation.

Ms. Fonacier has government contract experience and knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations, bid protests, teaming agreements, and Size Standards and Set-asides. She also represents service-disabled Veterans and assists their successful certification as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) with the Center for Verification and Evaluation (CVE) and subsequent navigation of the regulatory framework.
